The Maine Footy Tide faced off against the New England Mutiny marking both of their first matches within the United Women’s Soccer League. The Mutiny hosted the match at Lusitano Stadium on Saturday afternoon. The Mutiny earned the season-opening triumph, 3-1.
Maine Footy has recently announced its roster for the upcoming 2024 season! Building on the successes of their first year, which saw the Tide make a playoff run in 2023, Maine Footy is eager to showcase a mix of returners and new talent from six countries and nine states.
The schedule kicks off on the road with matches against New England Mutiny on May 18th (time TBD), followed by Worcester Fuel FC on May 25th (time TBD). The Tide then take to their home pitch for the next two matches at Memorial Stadium in Portland, ME.
